Built in 1911, the Sun Tower with its Beaux-Arts dome and cupola still emboldens the Vancouver skyline with its characteristic verdigris green that was actually in real life, a steel roof that was painted to look like patinated copper. This painting with its clever strokes details the little windows - simply delightful. Painted before 2021 when a new roof clad in real penny-coloured copper tiles was revealed.
